The Story Behind the PSA
Thanks to the help of a few dedicated volunteers as well as the staff team, Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Los Angeles was selected by Women in Film as a recipient for their award-winning Public Service Announcement Production Program. The entire creative process -- a series of meetings and phone calls, reviews of numerous drafts and rewrites, a 15-hour shoot day, and final production -- was guided by an amazing creative team assembled by Women In Film and working in conjunction with members of the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Los Angeles.
The Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Los Angeles is incredibly grateful to Women In Film for this opportunity, which even led to the adoption of a new campaign slogan and call-to-action, read by the narrator in each PSA:
We invite interested readers to see it all--from the creative brief to the final scripts, the creative team, the behind-the-scenes images of the making of the End Epilepsy PSA, and the announcement of their launch in March 2011.
