Dr. Jeffrey Chung is currently working as a Director of the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in the Division of Neurology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Prior to working at Cedars-Sinai, Dr. Chung worked at the University of Florida College of Medicine (Neurology) and David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA (Neurology). He is a board certified Diplomate, National Board of Medical Examiners (2000) and a Diplomate, American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (2006). Dr. Chung is a graduate from UC Berkeley, UC Irvine, Northwestern University Medical School and has been an intern, resident and at the following: McGaw Medical Center, UCLA Medical Center and UCLA School of Medicine. Just a few of Dr. Chung’s many professional activities include a membership of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Epilepsy Society and the American Medical Association. He has also been a medical staff to the Los Angeles MDS Walk, MS Bike Tour and Chicago Marathon and Triathalon. Two of his most recent lectures and/or publications include Seizures, Epilepsy, When to Initiate Treatment, CSMC Medicine Grand Round 1/22/2008 and EEG Interpretations Basic 2, UF Educational Program 8/10/2007.
