THE NEED Our Care And Cure For Children Initiatives for Specialty Care and Research are rooted in the fact that there are far too few pediatric neurologists and epilepsy specialists in our region and there are still no cures for the epilepsies.
THE GOAL A child's life can be dramatically altered by epilepsy and the outcome and effects on the brain can be far worse if the child cannot access specialty care. The Care And Cure Benefit helps ensure children receive specialty care faster, TODAY, and also invests in research and hope, TOMORROW. The goal of the Benefit is to raise significant funds to increase the number of doctors in pediatric neurology/epilepsy so that no child has to wait to see a specialist. Fulfilling this crucial need will enable parents, specialists, and the children themselves to join our fight to END EPILEPSY.
